One of the most emotionally challenging transformations this year was the tenth episode of the show "How Dreams Are Built." Designers had to cope with the situation where one of the partners for whom the dream was being built passed away during the implementation. Not only did they strive to fulfill his last wish of a beautiful, barrier-free home that he could not complete himself, but they also had to support his wife, Mrs. Libuška. Designers Zuzana and Viktor showed great empathy and followed Mr. Jaromír’s vision regarding spatial layout and design. He loved the industrial style, black accessories, and a cozy atmosphere. The result reflected exactly that.
The basic concept of the space is based on white furniture complemented by wood decor in a warm shade, with black details woven throughout. Black niches, table legs, a coffee table, kitchen countertops, picture frames, a mirror, and a coat rack. Wooden elements and a striking yellow sofa add coziness to the interior. A purely industrial style was chosen for the bathroom and hallway, where SLIM series doors in black matte lacquer (RAL 9005) dominate. These framed doors with horizontal segmentation and frosted safety glass panels are installed in vertical casing frames. For the bathroom, the designers opted for SLIM sliding pocket doors to save space. These can also be locked using a flush handle with a WC latch. The combination of sliding and hinged doors creates a fresh impression.
Dark elements also include ALMA entrance doors made from exotic meranti wood (lacquered RAL 8022) with frosted glass and Rostex security fittings.
